Back in Bangkok this early morning fighting off the what was left of the Khaosan Road drunks and ladyboys to get to my hotel… You’ve got to love Thailand.

With it being Saturday, I took some time to visit the Weekend Market, as I hadn’t been in three years. Yes, it looks completely the same, but the clothing seems to be the thing that has been updated with time. I went looking for the ever elusive “I heart the King” shirt that I missed out on in ’06 but again to no avail.

Being tired of Thai food and some what lazy I stepped out for lunch to a trusty KFC. Now, they have a completely Asianized menu of course but they still have a few basics, like chicken. [Side note: I realized today that its been almost two months since I've eaten beef. Seeing that was a huge part of my diet the past 25 years, I've found it to be a nice change.] But getting to my point. The meaning of the word “Line” (to my Commonwealth readers “Queue”) has yet to hit the masses. Already knowing this fact I try and fight my way to the front but no, I literally have to wait for everyone else in “line” to go ahead first… It’s hard to grasp the thought that some people just don’t understand this thing called common sense… I’m not putting down this culture by any means because I love learning about it, I’m just stating that every once in a while I’d like to see them learning mine as well. Sharing is caring.
